During the school holidays, we offer exciting School Holiday Programmes — an excellent way to give your child’s swimming skills a super boost! And if you’re considering enrolling your child for weekly lessons, the school holiday programme is a great way to see how they like learning with us at Kings.
Whether they’re mastering specific techniques or working to reach the next level, this programme helps them progress quickly while burning off energy and staying active during the break. Plus, swimming is a great activity for promoting lifelong health and fitness. According to Griffith University, children who take swimming lessons excel in key developmental areas, giving them a competitive edge!

School Holiday Programmes – July 2026.
Our Stroke Clinic & School Holiday Programme is a great opportunity for school-aged children to rapidly improve their swimming skills.
For students who already attend our lessons, we will further build on what they are already learning to accelerate their progress.
School Holiday Programme:Each lesson runs for 25 or 35 minutes (depending on level) each day.
High Level Stroke Clinic: 1 hour

July School Holidays 2026
Our Holiday programme runs each day from 9.30am until 12.30pm.
Levels 1-6 – 25 minutes
Level 7-9 – 35 minutes
All levels will take place in the big pool.
When you book into a class that is your class time for the week.
Dates:
Week One: Monday 6 – Thursday 9 July (4 days – not running on 10 July, Matariki)
Week Two: Monday 13 – Friday July (5 days)

High Level Stroke Clinic
Take your swimming to the next level these school holidays with our High Level Stroke Clinic, led by Hannah Sutherland, Vikings Swim Club Assistant Coach and International Youth Coach.
Designed for Level 8, Level 9 and SwimFit swimmers, this programme focuses on developing technique, race skills and confidence in a positive high-performance environment.
Programme Focus:
- One stroke focus each day
- Dives, starts and turns
- Technical development
- Race skills and confidence building

Week 1: Monday–Thursday | 12.00pm–1.00pm
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday | 12.00pm–1.00pm

$60 per week – Kings & Vikings swimmers
