Why a New Pool?
After 30 years of operation, we had outgrown our first pool in Upper Riccarton and required a high-performance, cost-effective solution to enable us to keep up with demand for our learn to swim classes.
We chose an innovative solution for our new pools, using new construction technology including New Zealand’s first fully enclosed sprung structure, a high-performance tensioned membrane system with a high level of thermal insulation, brought in from North America.
The pool stands out from other swimming schools, thanks to integration of a central daylight strip providing natural lighting, acoustic control helping to reduce normal pool noise, and full climate control.
The sprung enclosure and pool tanks are highly durable, and the pool water systems are specified to achieve a high level of water quality thanks to UV filtration.
