As it's World Drowning Prevention Day — something that is very close to our hearts at Kings — we are dedicated to reducing drowning statistics in New Zealand and Christchurch. That's why we're committed to providing a quality learn-to-swim programme for babies, preschoolers, school-age children, adults, and schools. It's crucial to introduce children to the aquatic environment in a controlled and safe manner, where our instructors can help develop important swimming and water safety skills for you or your child. We're all in this together.

Heat Exhaustion: Heat exhaustion can cause symptoms like dizziness, nausea, heavy sweating, and a rapid pulse.
Heat Stroke: Heat stroke is more severe and can lead to confusion, unconsciousness, and even life-threatening situations.
Knowing the signs of both can help you act swiftly and effectively.
Here are some tips to keep your family safe in the heat:
Stay Hydrated 🚰: Always drink plenty of water throughout the day, even if you don't feel thirsty. Try to carry a water bottle and take regular hydration breaks.
Seek Shade 🕶: Take breaks in shaded areas, especially during the hottest parts of the day to reduce overheating.
